Current trends and innovations such as electric motors, autonomous driving or the downsizing of engines are in contrast to the vision many people traditionally have for a sports car.
This development may be a problem to a company that defines itself precisely by values such as driving pleasure and motorsport. The company must be innovative and modern in order to remain competitive but at the same time not lose their ideals and their traditional values. This balancing act provides an interesting field for a thesis.
The main question is: "How can the core values of BMW M be combined with the values of the potential customers of 2030?" This thesis evaluates this question and shows one possible answer in form of a concept model.
